Alchemie Gases also offers a complete range of Gas Handling Equipment that include Cylinders, Regulators (I & II stages, Brass & SS), Manifold Systems, Gauges, Flow meter, Cylinder Trolley, Valve & Valve Cap & Guard, Cylinder Quad, Aluminum Canister, S.S. Bottle and other safety products supported by a broad range of related services.
How to choose correct type of regulator for your purpose : Here we would like to explain our customer about regulators. In the process of regulator selection, the application needs to be defined with consideration given not only to the pressure requirements but also to the flow rate, gas/liquid composition and temperature. Proper selection can help to avoid undesirable conditions such as droop and creep, improper pressure control and contamination of gas streams. Once the appropriate type of regulator has been identified, based on the application, attention should be given to the materials of construction (MOC). The same regulator may be outfitted with different materials for critical components such as diaphragms and poppet seats, to ensure safe and proper functioning of the regulator over time. The regulators are of two types i.e. Single Stage & Two Stages.
Single Stage and Double stage Regulator : We request our customers to consider in choosing between a single and double stage regulator. It depends on the variation in the inlet pressure supply. The manner in which a regulator adjusts to variations in the high pressure supply is known as supply pressure effect (SPE). In short , Single pressure regulators are suitable for most applications where the inlet pressure is relatively constant, whereas the high pressure supply is subject to large variations, a two-stage regulator with a low SPE will provide the most stable, low-pressure delivery.
Piston type Regulator : Piston type regulators are generally used in applications with outlet pressures higher than 35 bar, although they may also be suitable for lower pressures.

We provide Gas Mixtures, Calibration Standards & Pure Gases of High Quality with Certificates and in various sizes of cylinders wherever applicable and as per the suitability of material of construction. We also provide 0.5 ltrs. aluminum Canisters ''CALCAN" up to 100 bar pressure (subject to vapour pressure limitation).
All costly gas mixtures like RGA, NG, LPG, LEL mixture, Helium mixtures etc are also provided in CALCAN. This has an advantage of low inventory cost, small volume for small needs, easy to handle and Refillable.
The Imported Cylinders supplied along with Instruments i.e. Blood Gas Analyzer, Lung Function Test etc. are non-refillable type. We have a unique scheme to replace all the imported cylinders with Indian make. They are as per IS-7285 and are approved by Chief Controller of Explosive with IS 3224 type
valve connection (Indian Standard). These are safe and refillable.
We supply cylinders under
various capacities
0.5 Lit. W.C.- Aluminium Canister & SS Bottles.
3 Lit. W.C.- Aluminium Cylinders.
3 Lit. W.C.- C.S. Cylinders.
10 Lit. W.C.- Aluminium Cylinders.
10 Lit. W.C.- C.S. Cylinders.
41 Lit. W.C.- C.S. Cylinders.
47 Lit. W.C.- C.S. Cylinders.

Gas Mixtures are certified for a period of 15 days to one year and sometimes 36 months depending of the stability of the mixture
Alchemie Gases offers a cost effective re-certification service after the initial certification period has expired. Longer certification periods are available for mixtures that have been shown to be stable over long periods of time.

Basically hydraulic cylinder tests assess a cylinder for flaws or leaks. This is important because cylinders can explode if they cannot contain the compressed gas. Essentially cylinders are made of a material that has a flexibility of expansion and contraction during pressurization. For various reasons this flexibility of expansion and contraction begins to deteriorate (weaken) over a period of time. Similarly, on account of other conditions such as filling, handling, transportation, floor conditions, there are chances of wear and tear over a period of time. It may also develop certain other defects normally rendering a cylinder unsafe for use.
Globally such cylinders are required to be periodically tested every 5 years for visual damages, weight loss and loss of elasticity. Therefore it is very important to periodically do Hydraulic test of cylinders. We offer this service in accordance with the gas cylinder rules laid down by Govt. Explosives Department(CCOE).

We undertake Analysis of Gas samples (especially Natural Gas, SOX, NOX, COX, H2S etc.)
Natural Gas has become an increasingly valuable energy source. The ability to verify the composition of the hydrocarbon gas is critical to the determination of its commercial value, be this in gathering, transportation or loading systems. Accurate and reliable sampling allows both buyer and seller to be confident of a fair transaction. Sampling of natural gas requires that the gaseous state of the sample must be maintained at all times at conditions that are representative of the gas in the pipeline. We offer to provide service to analyze these samples with analysis certificates.
